About the Role: (ANZSCO 322311)
As a Roof Metal Installer, you’ll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of metal roofing and cladding systems on both residential and commercial projects.

You’ll ensure roofs are structurally sound, watertight, and built to meet Australian building and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications for metal roofing installations
• Measure, cut, and install metal roofing sheets, ridge cappings, and flashings
• Install insulation layers, underlays, and sealants to achieve complete weatherproofing
• Fit and secure gutters, downpipes, and other drainage components
• Repair or replace damaged sections of existing metal roofs
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
  Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards

Strict requirements:

• Age: 28 years old and above
• Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Roof Metal Installer or Metal Trades Worker
• Solid knowledge of metal roofing materials (e.g. Colorbond, Zincalume, corrugated sheets, etc.)
• Physically fit and capable of working at heights and in outdoor conditions
• Good English communication skills – required for safety, coordination, and reading plans
• Vocational or college education (at least 1 year) is preferred for English test exemption (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Otherwise, candidates will be required to take one of these recognized English language tests.
• Prior overseas experience is an advantage, but not essential.
