WE’RE HIRING IN AUSTRALIA: PUMP REPAIR TECHNICIANS

We are urgently hiring Pump Repair Technicians for our Australian employer. Applicants must have solid hands-on experience refurbishing pumps in a workshop environment. ANZSCO 323211 – Fitter (General)

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

Successful candidates must have experience refurbishing a variety of pumps, including:

Submersible pumps, Multistage pumps, Slurry pumps, Piston pumps, Split case pumps, Vacuum pumps, Positive displacement pumps, Centrifugal pumps, E-One pumps

Core Duties:

• Replace mechanical seals or packing (for packed glands)
• Replace bearings and oil seals
• Replace shafts, impellers, and other critical components
• Check pump clearances for proper operation
• Perform laser alignment of shafts and couplings
• Commission and test pump performance to ensure optimal functionality
• Maintain accurate work records and documentation of repairs
• Follow workshop safety standards and maintain a clean, organized environment

📌 Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a mechanical fitter refurbishing pumps in a workshop
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulic components, and pump operation
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics

Strict requirements:

• At least 28 years old
• Must be fit to work
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, consistent & proven work as a mechanical fitter refurbishing pumps
• Must have workshop experience (NOT just field repairs)
• Applicants who only performed occasional pump repairs are not suitable
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and technical drawings
• Trade qualification in Tiling preferred
• Preferably with overseas experience but not required
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of vocational or college education will be exempt from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Those without this level of education must take an English language test.
