WE ARE HIRING IN AUSTRALIA: REEFER TECHNICIANS

We are seeking skilled Reefer Mechanics to service and maintain refrigerated trucks, trailers, and container cooling systems across Australia.

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair transport refrigeration systems (reefer units)
• Perform routine maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, and electrical controls
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults
• Test, recharge, and recover refrigerants in compliance with regulations
• Install, calibrate, and maintain temperature control systems and monitoring devices
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize breakdowns and downtime
• Maintain accurate service and repair records
• Work on both diesel-powered and electric refrigeration units
• Follow WHS safety standards and environmental regulations at all times
• Preferably experienced with Thermo King and Carrier brands

📌 Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a Reefer Technician / Transport Refrigeration Technician
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration systems
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Strict requirements:

• At least 28 years old
• Must be fit to work
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, consistent & proven work experience
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration, diesel engines, and electrical systems
• Certification in handling refrigerants (or equivalent training) preferred
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain Thermo King, Carrier, or similar units
• Trade qualifications or equivalent experience highly regarded
• Preferably with overseas experience but not required
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of vocational or college education will be exempt from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Those without this level of education must take an English language test.
