BUS/TRUCK/HEAVY EQUIPMENT ELECTRICIANS
We are looking for skilled Heavy Equipment Electricians (ANZSCO 341111 – Electrician General, or similar trade category) to work with leading employers across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems on bus, trucks, trailers, forklifts, excavators, loaders, bulldozers, cranes, and other heavy equipment
  • Service and maintain ignition, charging, lighting, wiring, and control systems
  • Troubleshoot electronic control modules, sensors, CAN bus systems, and vehicle electronics
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical harnesses, alternators, starter motors, batteries, and other heavy equipment components
  • Work with diagnostic tools, scan tools, and technical schematics to identify and resolve faults efficiently
  • Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and industry standards
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team, following manufacturer guidelines and company procedures.

Strict requirements:

  • 25 years old and above
    Must be medically fit for the physical demands of the role
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment / Automotive Electrician
  • Strong background in electrical diagnostics and repair for heavy vehicles or machinery
  • Familiarity with modern electronic and diagnostic systems
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals
  • Good English communication skills are essential for accurate diagnosis, understanding technical manuals, and collaborating with teams.
  • Prior overseas work experience is considered a significant advantage but not strictly required.
  • At least one (1) year of vocational or college education (preferably in Automotive Technology or a related mechanical field) is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Otherwise, you’ll be required to take one of these recognized English language tests.
