VEHICLE TRIMMERS (UPHOLSTERERS) (ANZSCO 324212)

We are seeking experienced Vehicle Trimmers (ANZSCO 324212) to work with leading automotive employers in Australia.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
We are seeking skilled Vehicle Upholstery Technicians to join reputable employers across Australia. Candidates should have hands-on experience in removing, repairing, and installing vehicle interiors, delivering high-quality finishes to meet manufacturer or client specifications.

• Remove, repair, and install vehicle interiors, including seats, roof linings, door panels, dashboards, carpets, and consoles
• Work with a variety of materials, including fabric, leather, vinyl, and synthetic composites
• Repair and replace seat frames, padding, springs, and cushioning as required
• Perform custom trimming and upholstery work to meet specific client or manufacturer requirements
• Stitch, sew, and fit coverings with precision for both new and restored vehicles
• Repair or refurbish damaged or worn interior components to restore vehicle aesthetics and functionality
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all projects
  Ensure compliance with workplace safety standards and quality regulations
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials use.

Strict requirements:

• 28 years old and above
• Must be medically fit for the physical demands of the role
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable, consistent, and proven work experience as a vehicle trimming/upholstery
• Strong skills in cutting, sewing, measuring, and fitting automotive interiors
• Ability to work with custom and restoration projects
  Knowledge of workplace safety practices
• Good English communication skills are essential for clear instruction following and teamwork
• Prior overseas work experience is considered a significant advantage.
• At least one (1) year of vocational or college education is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Otherwise, candidates will be required to take one of these recognized English language tests.
