CARPENTERS (GENERAL)

We are seeking experienced Carpenters to join leading employers across Australia. Positions are available for both Rough (Framing) Carpenters and Finish (Joinery) Carpenters.

Key Responsibilities

Rough / Framing Carpenters:

• Construct structural timber framing for walls, partitions, floors, and roofs
• Carry out formwork, framing, and roofing to meet industry standards
• Install doors, windows, and partitions with precision
• Read, interpret, and follow construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications
• Measure, cut, and assemble timber and other materials accurately
• Collaborate with other trades and site supervisors to ensure structural integrity and project timelines
• Maintain a safe and organized worksite, following workplace safety protocols
• Finish / Joinery Carpenters:
• Perform detailed internal fit-outs, including skirting, trims, doors, staircases, and cabinetry
• Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and joinery components
• Ensure precise finishing and high-quality workmanship
• Maintain a high standard of detailing and craftsmanship
• Repair or modify joinery and timber elements as required
• Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
• Work with various materials including timber, MDF, laminates, and engineered wood

Strict Requirements

• At least 28 years old
• Must be fit to work
• Minimum 5 years of verifiable, consistent & proven work experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and woodworking equipment
• Trade qualification in Carpentry preferred
• Preferably with overseas experience but not required
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of vocational or college education will be exempt from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Those without this level of education must take an English language test.
