CNC MACHINISTS & PROGRAMMER
We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists and Programmers to join reputable employers across Australia. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in programming, operating, and optimizing CNC machines using modern software and controllers.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate CNC machines using SolidWorks, SolidCAM, and MasterCAM
- Create, optimize, and adjust machining programs for Doosan and Fanuc controllers
- Set up tools, fixtures, and materials to achieve precise machining results
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, 3D models, and blueprints
- Perform precision measurements and quality inspections to meet specifications
- Troubleshoot and adjust programs and machines to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Maintain CNC machines and ensure strict adherence to safety and quality protocols
- Collaborate with engineers and workshop teams to complete projects on schedule
Strict requirements:
- Minimum 28 years old
- Physically fit and able to perform machining tasks
- At least 5 years of verifiable, consistent, hands-on experience as a CNC machinist/programmer
- Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, SolidCAM, MasterCAM, or equivalent CAD/CAM software
- Hands-on experience with Doosan & Fanuc controllers
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, 3D models, and machining schematics
- Trade qualification or certification in machining, metal trades, or related technical fields preferred
- Vocational or college-level education (minimum 1 year) is advantageous and may exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Candidates without this level of education must take an English language test
- Overseas work experience preferred but not required
