BOAT MECHANICS (OUTBOARD)
We are looking for skilled Boat Mechanics with proven experience in servicing and repairing outboard and inboard marine engines to join our employers in Australia.

📌 Key Responsibilities

We are seeking experienced Boat Mechanics specializing in outboard and inboard motors for marine vessels. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience in diagnosing, servicing, and repairing marine propulsion systems.

• Diagnose, service, and repair outboard and inboard motors (petrol and diesel)
• Perform routine maintenance on propulsion, fuel, cooling, and steering systems
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical and electronic components, including ignition, charging, and control systems
• Troubleshoot engine management and fuel injection systems to ensure optimal performance
• Carry out engine overhauls, re-powering, and component replacements
• Use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and technical manuals for accurate repairs and testing
• Maintain compliance with workplace safety standards, marine regulations, and manufacturer guidelinesKeep detailed records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections

🔒 Strict requirements:

• 28 years old and above
• Must be medically fit for the physical demands of the role
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable, consistent, and proven work experience
• Strong knowledge of Yamaha, Mercury, Honda, Suzuki, or Evinrude outboards (advantage)
• Ability to service both 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine engines
• Familiarity with marine safety standards and workshop practices
  Knowledge of workplace safety practices
• Good English communication skills are essential for clear instruction following and teamwork
• Prior overseas work experience is considered a significant advantage.
  At least one (1) year of vocational or college education is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Otherwise, candidates will be required to take one of these recognized English language tests.
