We are seeking skilled Automotive/Vehicle Spray Painters (ANZSCO 324311) to join leading workshops and employers across Australia.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to achieve a flawless base
• Perform accurate colour matching and paint mixing according to manufacturer specifications or custom requirements
• Apply primers, base coats, and finishing coats using professional spray-gun techniques
• Sand between coats, apply clear coats, polish, and protective treatments for showroom-quality finishes
• Carry out touch-ups, detailing, decals, or artwork as required
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant workspace following WHS and company safety procedures
• Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used

📌 Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as an Automotive Spray Painter
• Skilled in surface preparation, colour matching, and spray techniques
• Ability to read technical manuals, paint charts, and vehicle schematics
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality finishes

Strict requirements:

• 28 years old and above
• Must be medically fit for the physical demands of the role
• Minimum of 5 years of verifiable, consistent, and proven work experience
• Strong skills in surface prep, colour matching, and spray techniques
• Ability to deliver high-quality finishes to a range of vehicles
• Knowledge of workplace safety standards and spray booth procedures
• Good English communication skills are essential for clear instruction following and teamwork
• Prior overseas work experience is considered a significant advantage.
• At least one (1) year of vocational or college education is preferred to exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, or PTE). Otherwise, candidates will be required to take one of these recognized English language tests.
