MANUAL/CONVENTIONAL MACHINES

We are seeking experienced Machinists – Manual/Conventional Machinists (Lathe & Milling)

🔑 Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, and grinders safely and efficiently
• Fabricate, repair, and modify precision metal parts according to engineering specifications
• Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical schematics
• Perform accurate measurements, tolerances, and quality inspections on completed components
• Select appropriate tools, speeds, and feeds for machining tasks
• Carry out routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines and tools
• Ensure all work meets safety, quality, and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to complete projects on time

📌 Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Proven experience as a manual or conventional machinist
• Strong understanding of metalworking, machining techniques, and mechanical components
• Skilled in precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)
• Ability to troubleshoot machine and part issues

📜 Strict Requirements:

• Minimum 28 years old
• Physically fit and able to perform machining duties
• At least 5 years of verifiable, consistent, hands-on experience operating lathes, milling machines, and conventional metalworking equipment
• Strong proficiency in lathe and milling operations
• Ability to read and work accurately from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
• Trade qualification or certification in machining, metal trades, or related technical fields is preferred
• Vocational or college-level education (minimum 1 year) is advantageous and may exempt candidates from English language proficiency tests (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE). Candidates without this education must complete an English language test
• Overseas work experience is preferred but not required
