HUMAN RESOURCES CORPORATION recently submitted its registration
to the Marketing Branch of POEA regarding the company's intent to
participate in the Reconstruction Program for Iraq as per POEA Advisory
No.2 Series of 2003 discussed in the meeting held last April 30,
2003 in POEA Auditorium.
The
Philippine government collaborates with the private sector and in
cooperation of the Philippine Contractors Association towards the
possible participation of Filipino contractors and overseas workers
in the post war reconstruction of Iraq. A task force was created
through Executive Order No. 194 dated April 14, 2003 for the said
program and POEA invited the participation of all licensed Philippine
recruitment agencies.
Selected
highly skilled workers are required for the said program that the
Philippine recruitment agencies can provide. With the United States
and United Kingdom participating in the said post war reconstruction
program, Filipino competency is called for, at par with global standards.
